School Story:

I always thought it fun to try and avoid ( run around) Kermit Ambros during Cross Country practice. He never knew if we were practicing or loafing. The proof came at an actual meet.
I enjoyed Art Del Verio's (sp?) history. Being a WW II vet we really lived that 1940's segment of history with no text book needed.
I can't recall the name of the frizzy haired English teacher who spent every waking minute checking people for hall passes or shouting out the minutes until class started. How she ever found time to teach is beyond me.
Teachers I appreciated- Ms Arner, Mr Kish, MrTarrent, Mr Bagg, Mr Montel

Comments:

I used to run cross country and track with you on Kermit's teams Murray. Are you still doing any running?
I ran into Mike Greer in Leonard Mich a number of years ago but none of the other team members. I enjoyed the track video on the home page. Hope this finds you well "62 we're for you"

Remember the Cross Country practice after school when Mike Greer, you and I would run off into the woods only to be surprised by ol Kermit with his stop watch 1/2 way thru. Him shouting admonishments about work ethic and desire to win. I never could beat you in the 2 mile times, but always enjoyed trying.
Peace. John Rector
