Marcia died of a brain tumor in the 70's. She was living in the East at the time; I don't remember exactly where.
She was a good friend throughout our school years in Birmingham and at Lake Forest College in IL. After college, we took a trip to Puerto Rico in 1967. She was working in New York City at the time; I was in Chicago. We had a ball touring around seeing all the sights.
She was a bridesmaid in my wedding in 1968. I saw her again at my home in Wilmette in the early 70's, but after that we lost touch because of her illness, the distance, and the fact that I had 2 little kids at that time. I did speak with her on the phone before her death, though, thankfully.
