Betty F. Elliott, nee Wilson, age 57, of Winnetka, beloved wife of EdwardWhitney Elliott Jr.; loving mother of Edward Whitney III and Timothy W. Elliott; devoted daughter of Betty F. Wilson; cherished sister of Lauraine (Warren) Hoensheid and Arnold (Donna) Wilson; fond aunt of Jane (Andrew) Beam, Robert and Mark Wilson. Visitation Sunday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Monday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Betty F. Elliott, a telecommunications executive and a mentor to Chicago businesswomen, died Saturday, Nov. 23, after a yearlong struggle with cancer. She was 57.

Mrs. Elliott of Winnetka was vice president and comptroller of Ameritech from 1991 to 1996 and served on the boards of LaSalle Bank, the Metropolitan Planning Council and Catholic Charities.
